A long week ahead...

Tomorrow begins my long week (and a half) of revision. Some will hate me for doing this but I think the end of year exams are still important. It might not affect our entire future but it serves as good practice for when the time comes so yeah, I'm going to try and work hard this year (wow, I sound like I'm writing a speech, i'll be expecting applause at the end of this :-))

I watched the Eurovision Song Contest yesterday. As always, some of the songs were pretty rubbishy and the voting was even rubbishy-er. I don't know how many of my friends watch Eurovision but for the record my favourites last night were Croatia and Ukraine. They weren't great but they were a lot of fun and I guess I like Eastern music... The winners, Finland, were an amazing (word of the evening according to Terry Wogan) visual spectacle but the song wasn't really my type, and the voice was annoying. The UK's entry was a bit dodgy. The song started nicely but the bland rapping brought it down. Overall, the contest was OK...

Hmmm lunch... noodles... not much else to say really...
Looking forward to going to db's on Wednesday!

Hey- the contest was really good this year!
I loved Lithuania's little footballish "We are the winners of Eurovision! We are! We are! We are! We are!".
Ooh and Finland were scary. They hypnotised the entire audience.

Lithuania was great fun but not very musical...
Some of the entries this year were rubbish though, you have to admit!
Russia 2nd place? That was just messed up!

Finland looked good but they didn't sing very well in my opinion... Hummm. They still deserved the win though. Yay for non-conformists!!!
